Superb price/performance ratio
I owned a 102/1000 mm F10 Bresser achromat for some time, now I purchased the Svbony 102mm ED FPL51 and its significaltly better with a lot less chromatic aberrations. I like this refractor a lot, especially because it's sold for an excellent price
Worth a look as a first scope.
I have the the 80mm version of this scope. I think for the price it's very good. It's not as good as a triplet but the difference is not big, mainly slight halos on bright stars. It's well built and nice to use. I have the reducer for it as well. It's my go to scope and I really like it.
Best price with high quality
I have the 102 and the 70 and I love them! Glad at got them before the tariff war being in the states!
this was the best rig I could afford
This is the exact telescope I use with an ASI2600MC. With a 0.8X FF/FR and a Pegasus Focus Cube, this was the best rig I could afford.
This sv503 did really surprise me
I purchased the 503 102ed during the Black Friday sale with competitive price. Thanks svbony. I can proceed my hobby.
Nice gear I've own
I got one sv503 telescope a few months ago. Pretty happy with it.
Great value scope
A nice little doblet apo scope, easy focuser very clear images of planets and starts. For wide field imaging it's ideal. Besides it is fabulous to grap and go. Peharps the dovetail will be better in 300mm instead 210mm that brigns nowadays. The 360º field rotator its a nice punch, very useful when fosusing, imaging or viewing.
For me anyway it was money well spent.
i have the 503, 102 for a few years now and i really like it, i use it with my asi 585 and it produces images i am happy with for the price of the setup. it seems to be a good match for a smaller censor i think most people buying a cheaper beginner telescope like this are not going to have an expensive apc sized cooled camera anyway. the chromatic aberration is a pain but it can mostly be sorted out in pixnsight.
Love it
I enjoy it and can pull up great pictures of the planets. It’s not the strongest scope out there but it does what it should for the money! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💯
Really liking this scope! Don’t expect to se footprints on the moon or incredible details of Saturn’s rings but you will definitely see the Saturn and it’s rings, moons of Jupiter and it’s clouds. Now, I’m a beginner but wanted something better after trying few scopes and doing a lot of research and I’m satisfied, and I think I will be satisfied for a while lol it’s just matter of good tripod. Didn’t try it for nebula yet, as still exploring planets with it, trying out different eyepieces/filters. Overall it’s a great scope for its money.
Excellent ED optisc & focuser
I have the 102 mm ED verson from Svbony. I have used it for visual observations and photography, it's very very nice for the planets and the Moon (with filter) clearly better than my Bresser 102/1000 mm achromat. It also has an excellent focuser.
