Superb price/performance ratio
I owned a 102/1000 mm F10 Bresser achromat for some time, now I purchased the Svbony 102mm ED FPL51 and its significaltly better with a lot less chromatic aberrations. I like this refractor a lot, especially because it's sold for an excellent price
Worth a look as a first scope.
I have the the 80mm version of this scope. I think for the price it's very good. It's not as good as a triplet but the difference is not big, mainly slight halos on bright stars. It's well built and nice to use. I have the reducer for it as well. It's my go to scope and I really like it.

This is the exact telescope I use with an ASI2600MC. With a 0.8X FF/FR and a Pegasus Focus Cube, this was the best rig I could afford.

This is a great little telescope.
This is a great little telescope. Far better than the entry level title people give it. The build quality is excellent and it is good value at the price. I ordered the telescope direct from SvBony on December 26 and it arrived well packaged at my address in the UK on January 6. I have managed (between clouds) to do some imaging and I am very happy with the results.
Based on my experience I would definitely recommend this telescope.
I am hoping this company will venture into harmonic drive telescope mounts.
