SV503 102ED Telescope - 0.8x Focal Reducer/Field Flattener Combination

I owned a 102/1000 mm F10 Bresser achromat for some time, now I purchased the Svbony 102mm ED FPL51 and its significaltly better with a lot less chromatic aberrations. I like this refractor a lot, especially because it's sold for an excellent price

I have the 102 and the 70 and I love them! Glad at got them before the tariff war being in the states!

This is the exact telescope I use with an ASI2600MC. With a 0.8X FF/FR and a Pegasus Focus Cube, this was the best rig I could afford.

I have the the 80mm version of this scope. I think for the price it's very good. It's not as good as a triplet but the difference is not big, mainly slight halos on bright stars. It's well built and nice to use. I have the reducer for it as well. It's my go to scope and I really like it.

Great product. High quality of every detail, everything fits perfectly and is build with good quality materials. I ordered and received package in about 2 weeks to Poland. Delivery to EU included all required VAT and customs - all handled by SVBony. With included in package focal reducer it is possible to make pictures using DSLR. Big 102mm aperture is great for seeing more details and makes this telescope more universal for deep space photography and planets too. Focuser reduces focal to around 570mm for a better DS. Chromatic aberration is much better with ED dublet lenses then in other achromatic products I used so far - not an APO off course but very nice. I can recommend the product, and so far I am very satisfied especially for the price. I also had great contact with the Company handling my request/order.

i have the 503, 102 for a few years now and i really like it, i use it with my asi 585 and it produces images i am happy with for the price of the setup. it seems to be a good match for a smaller censor i think most people buying a cheaper beginner telescope like this are not going to have an expensive apc sized cooled camera anyway. the chromatic aberration is a pain but it can mostly be sorted out in pixnsight.

I wanted a scope to use for astrophotography . I didn't want to break the bank. This scope fills the bill. It's not a APO but you won't hardly notice it in your photos. I'm very pleased with the pictures I've been getting with this scope. If you have extra money to spent, put that money on mount that your buy, that is even more important than the scope. anyway I think it is a great little scope and at f7 a petty fast good light gatherer. If you plan to take pictures make sure you get the .8 field flattner...
