Great scope loaded with features - great bang for the buck!
Very impressive! High end and high quality, very well made! Weight is also a bonus.
Easy to use, easy to set up and very clear wonderful vision.
Scope is really nice quality and the tripod is an excellent added feature.
Should last for years to come. Size and functionality far surpass its competitors. Will recommend and hope my buddies buy the same one. Thanks for this superior scope with accessories (didnt mention the case is beautifully made as well).
Very good spotting scope with good value for money
Delivery within 24 hours and package in very good condition. The spotting scope is of very good quality, both in terms of materials and finish. Just a test, but already very satisfied with the result. The colors stand out well, and the focus is precise thanks to the quick and fine adjustment. Observing a forest edge at 1.4 km, the image is sharp, the colors quite correct, despite the disturbances due to heat (image movement). Be careful, the spotting scope remains quite heavy and you need a suitable stand.
Be careful, the SV214 smartphone holder is not compatible; the lens diameter is a little too large for the mounting system.
It is about a fantastic spotting scope!
Ιt is about an amazing spotting scope, low price - hight quality! It seems to be very well made.
The build and the leens quality is exelent! This spotting scope has superior optical features. I am impressed! The glass is good. Also the color is good and the scope works well in low light. It is the best for the ideal weather and the sunny days of Greece, but it was also fine at twilight and at the cloudy days.
The scopes controls for power changes and parallax adjustments are excelent too.
It does offer very good sharpness and charity. It feels solid, sturdy and it is easy to use. It is very important that the quality of the image not reduce with magnification.I also like that it is waterproof. Even the cover case is reinforced and good quality to keep spotting scope protected.I am very pleased with the quality and the performane of the scope.
I use it in archery. At a distance of 70+ meters, I can distinquish my arrows in target from the others, by seeing details sush as the color of vanes (size 1 3/4 inches), because it has hight color reproduction and a very good zooming. The zooming works great and is very smooth.
Svbony SV406P 20-60X80 ED Extra-Low Dispersion Dual Focus Spotting Scope, in its price range it is definitely the best of all!
SVBONY ED 20-60×80mm for astro
After evaluating a smaller 12x55mm monocular for basic astro, I decided to buy the SVBONY ED monocular, specifically for astro viewing/smartphone photo usage. I had ordered a competing device also but had to return (severe packaging damage etc). This SVBONY scope was very nicely packaged in shrink-wrapped box. Well balanced on a mid-range sturdy tripod (K&M 22 lb capacity).
Weight: 1.6 kg. (3.5 lb)
FOV (my measurements):
20X: 1.91°
40X: 1.23°
60X: 0.95°
For the planet views (Jupiter and Saturn) X60 zoom on SVBONY plus ~ 2X digital zoom on phone.By eye, double star Mizar (14") was easy to split (and photograph with care) as well as 4 main stars in Orion "trapezium". My visual estimate of resolution of SVBONY + S23 Ultra main camera is ~ 3".
The ED gives a very decent view with minimum but noticeable aberrations (compared to non ED devices) .. but astro use is the acid test of optics.
For an ED monocular less than CAN $500 .. it is to my eyes very good value.
Great Value.
Great optics for the price. Compared it to my Vortex Razor and it stood up well. Just as sharp, but colors were a bit dull. Chromatic aberration was well controlled. Way better than my friends vortex that cost a bit more than the Svbony. Hard to believe how good it is really.
Great scope for the price
The image is very clear and sharp both on land and in the sky. Excellent scope for a quick look at objects in the sky. I can see the rings of Saturn and Jupiter with 2 darker bands and its moons at 60X. The stars in the Pleiades (M45) are pinpoint sharp. There is a very very slight chromatic aberration at 60X at the edge of the front lens which does not interfere with viewing the moon, Jupiter and Saturn. The ED glass really does its job. The dual focus is a feature I love. The coarse focus is a little stiff to turn but as for the fine focus, it is a joy to use. This scope rotates on itself from side to side for easy viewing. I recommend this product without hesitation.
Very Nice Scope
Got this while on sale as it had good reviews and was the lowest cost scope with ED glass I could find. The eyepiece works great- the screw out eye cup is very nice for both looking through and for digiscoping. The dual focus knobs are nice. I compared this with a Bushnell Skymaster that I had previously been using and this scope was noticeably brighter. That's probably the 80mm dimension at work. Just by eyeballing it, I couldn't tell any difference in sharpness. Both scopes looked pretty sharp. I couldn't tell any real difference in chromatic aberration between them either, but I didn't do a side by side photo comparison in difficult lighting to really compare. There is some very slight CA noticeable in photos at 60X on the SVBONY, but that was with my camera phone, so some of it could be from the low-end camera. Maybe you won't get that with a $2650K scope, but at 1/10 the cost, this SVBONY was a steal!
Very high quality spotting scope.
I wanted an ED spotting scope for wildlife viewing, but did not want to pay for something like a Swarovski since this was for occasional use. I also wanted an angled scope.
The dual focusing wheel capability, the large wide lens bringing plenty of light and the zoom range make me very happy with my purchase.
Also the build quality is superb.
This is a GREAT scope forgetting the price.
The Eyepiece can be removed
Great view and Eye relief.
I got a 40mm plossel for a nice wide angle view.
No color fringe. Excellent.
Clear, Bright and a Great Price To
I was amazed at the clarity of this scope for the price, The ED glass is differently the way to go if you want
to gaze at the night sky without buying an expensive telescope. with the standard eyepiece that comes with the scope i can see the rings of saturn, jupiter & four of it's moons and the red planet mars.
