Can see lots
This is the first spotting scope I have gotten so not much to compare it to. It does seem nice for seeing things a long ways out. It is easy to use and the view seems clear. It is fairly easy to focus and to change the magnification.
Better than I expected
Better than I expected. Love that it's lightweight and waterproof and close-focusing. Field of view is bright and sharp and the view through the eyepiece does not shrink when the scope is zoomed. Zooming does require re-focusing however, but not an issue for me. You can hand-hold it, but it's better mounted on a tripod or monopod. Love it.
Great scope for good price
So this is my first scope and the set up process was pretty easy. The quality of images is very clear. Scope itself made well , pretty sturdy.
Great Travel Scope
I bought this small spotting scope both for backyard birding and for travel birding. The ED glass makes a difference in viewing as well, everything I've seen through this scope so far is very crisp and clear. The zoom on the scope is nice as well. I love the option to have a travel-friendly spotting scope and see myself getting a lot of use out of this for years to come with the size and light-weight feel it has to it.
Good Scope!
It an be held so zoom and focus are easily adjusted in your hands.Nice ED glass and very little chromatic aberration.
Excellent spotting scope
Overall, my impression of this scope is quite high. The case is roomy enough to carry the scope. You will want a full size solid tripod or window mount for serious use in the field. In use, it is best to find your subject at 20x power, focus, then zoom in to the desired amount and tweak the focus again. The focus knob is very nice in that it has a coarse adjustment and a fine adjustment that is geared to the coarse adjustment and so both are available while adjusting the scope. The image is clear and crisp, with no discernible cupping of the image at the edge of the field of view. I was able to focus in to the top of a Douglas Fir tree near my house which according to my laser range finder is right at 200 yards away. At 60x power I can make out individual needles. I took a picture using the smart phone adapter and it came out pretty good. Then I focused on the planet Jupiter (November 14, 2023) and could clearly see the four major moons and the bands of color. I checked prices of spotting scopes with the same power range and objective lens diameter and found prices from $65 to $3700. A lot were in the $300 to $500 range and I would put this scope in this middle ground. From my experience using a friend’s $700 scope, I would have to say that this scope is well priced. The dual speed focus and glass quality make it a good and easy to use spotting scope. The phone adapter works good enough for casual long range photography.
amazing scope
This scope is perfect for what I needed! I don't hunt a lot but occasionally I will go out to hunt deer during the season and this scope provides a perfect, clear vision of my target.
power spotting scope
I use this for target practice. I can easily see out several hundred meters. Makes for sighting in a scope at 300m a breeze. Definitely worth the price.
Nice
Great magnification without optical distrortion.
VERY nice quality for the price
I was impressed. So much better quality than expected. Very durable.
