SV406P 20-60X80 ED Spotting Scope for Phone Birding Photography

Very nice quality spotting scope for the price point. Glass is very clear and features of this scope rival higher price competitors. If you are needing to see target strikes out to 200ish yards ( and I am talking bullet hole strikes in paper) with no trouble, then this scope is for you.

I have had this spotter a year today and have been very happy with it after multiple hunting trips to the rockies and a hike in the smokies. It is very light, my primary reason for purchasing this model, with a solid range of magnification. Seems very durable and it is easy to use. Tack sharp but at the very edge of daylight you may wish for a larger objective if you are trying to look into dark cover. Highly recommended.

This small scope is a good buy.This scope is better than my Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x42mm Binoculars (which are rated high by others for quality) while being the same weight and more zoom. This is like a hybrid between a scope and a binocular, the portability of a binocular with the zoom of a scope.The weight of my previous scope setup was definitely an annoyance, this scope is very light. All-in-all a very small scope that packs a punch, quality is good and is perfect for light and easy birding.

Tried this brand out on recommendation of a friend of mine who has spent over 10k on all his glass over the past decade after he looked through one of this brands spotting scopes at the range. Said he wish he knew of them sooner because it would have save him thousands of dollars. So far I concur with his assessment after comparing this to his 3k scope while out glassing for coues deer, I am very happy with the quality and performance of this scope when matched up to his!

I purchased this scope to replace/upgrade my old cheap spotting scope. This is a great scope. It does a great job when used as a target spotting scope at my local 100 yard range. The image is great, and the scope is a quality made device. All of the focus/range rings are smooth. It is light weight and a perfect size for my range box. It is a great value for the money. Overall I am extremely satisfied. I look forward to use it for sky gazing.

I bounced back and forth on giving this 4 or 5 stars and I landed on giving it 5 stars. I intend on using this for deer hunting mainly, so my review on this will pertain to hunting specifically. I have only been able to stretch this thing out to about 900 yards, so I will update after my deer hunt this weekend. So far though, the image is very clear. At 20x it is crystal clear. It does loose some of its magic at higher mag. levels but thats true for most glass. It doesnt necessarily get real fuzzy at higher mag levels, but the image does get darker. After messing with it for awhile though i got it to clear up pretty good. I would put this spotter in line with glass that costs 2-3 times as much. It truly does perform. I CAN NOT WAIT to take it out this weekend. Once I do I will update my review, but so far I am very happy. Great job Svbony.

Although not really designed for astro work, I really enjoy working with smaller optical aids and pushing the limits to really "see" what is achievable with a modest sized devices. The SV406P ED, although not an APO, is just a really nice spotting scope and does a great job of wider field star shots.

Have heard a lot about Svbony. I would say WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This spotter is amazing...just blow my mind. I can not believe how well it is built. After I took the product out of the box, I noticed the weight is there...nothing like those cheap products almost weightless. The spotter is buit really well with a great beefy. The knob has very smooth turn and just right amount tension. The coating looks really good on both objective and ocular side. The power ring is on the ocular piece and very easy to turn without any binding or grinding noise. The magniciation has 20-60 range and I can easily spot shot impact for a 1000 yard target. Compared it with my friend's Vortex Viper HD 20-60x85, he was shocked by the clarity of mine as he paid almost three times more on his. I could not be happier with this purchase.
